I just tried to log in and got notices from Firefox and Safari, malware warnings specifically.
No problems so far with Google Chrome as of Christmas Eve in the early morning.

I'm curious to know-- does the announcement about the end of the UGO affiliation pretty much mean the end of the TrekBBS, at least in its current form? I can't really get much of a sense of the ramifications from reading the follow-up thread.

I know there's something on the bbs about not complaining about ads blah blah blah so I'm going to ask this here: I'm suddenly getting HUGE pop-up ads that block my entire screen that I cannot get rid of. I do not have Flash so they're just huge squares that appear and never go away; they block the content and the drop-down menus and everything else in their path. Any suggestions?
I enjoy hanging around there now and then but this could be a deal breaker.
